Greetings – Wag recently told me about this trip and blog so I am just getting caught up. Wow. Not only do you have great images the blog text will remind you of all the things you’ll laugh about someday (the fleabag campgrounds, chiggers etc). I ditto the comment above – no cable release, tripod or any of the rest of it! You guys keep having fun. Marsh and Plumley
Hey, good to hear from you guys. Ain”t retirement great? Alice seems to have sdjusted rather quickly as well. This has really been fun so far. We’re in New Orleans now, and will be in La. till about the 25th. Then back over to the coast and north to see all the things we missed when it was so cold on the way down. That should coincide well with the migrants moving north. You should meet us up in Canada. Newfoundland in June.
Hi Pete & Alice, Great photos! I especially enjoyed those of the Painted Bunting and the Purple Gallinule. Well, it sounds like it has been quite an adventure and still lots to come. I’m glad most of all is well. It’s March in Montana and there’s finally been snow and more predicted, as one would expect after reading Mtns & Mesas of course. Bravo! brave explorers. Bestest, Dan, Andrea & Sara
Weather turns nice and you guys drop off the face of the earth. How about an update for those of us who are NOT retired. We need something to live for… besides lunch break! 5:00! Weekends!
